Timothy J. O'Brien, MD

Dr. O’Brien is a Connecticut native having been raised in Deep River, CT.  After attending Xavier High School in Middletown, CT, he studied premedical sciences at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana.  He returned to his native Connecticut to attend the University of Connecticut School of Medicine where he then also completed residency training in Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery.

Dr. O’Brien’s clinical interests include a wide range of general and pediatric otolaryngology with interest in allergy, chronic sinus disease, hearing loss/ringing in ears, adult and pediatric sleep disorders, head and neck cancer, voice disorders and laryngeal surgery.  He has special interest with minimally invasive in-office procedures thus avoiding general anesthesia, time away from work and the need for a ride home.  He has written multiple papers and presented his research at national meetings.
